She who will rise again.
On 2 December 1990, Stacey Copas broke her neck. She was twelve. It left her a quadriplegic and in a wheelchair for life.
That was the first time life rocked her to the core. It wasn't the last.
Financial ruin. Divorce. A business decimated by a pandemic. Each time, she discovered something that took years to name: she was more capable than her circumstances. More powerful than what had happened to her. And what was available on the other side: the purpose, the relationships, the version of herself she hadn’t met yet. Beyond anything she’d let herself want before.
Decades of rebuilding, and working with others to do the same, is the foundation of everything she teaches.
Stacey is a keynote speaker, writer of How to Be Resilient, and founder of Resilience Rocks®. Her name, Stacey, comes from the Greek Anastasia: she who will rise again. She doesn't take that lightly.
That's what rebuilding beyond looks like.
